A private art commission for a bespoke etching of the city of Gondor, Minas Tirith, from J.R.R. Tolkien's book The Lord of the Rings. Drawn mostly from memory, imagination and appropriation of a small 2cm x 2cm reference image, ORACULAR ART™ sketched and then etched into heavyweight acetate leaving the carving in its raw state ensuring the light would capture the silvery markings. The art piece took 120 hours to complete and is made up of literally thousands of carved markings made with a needle.
